XTET Moments at Bombs Away
CORVALLIS --

the
XTET, featuring
John Bliss (Guitar),
Rob Birdwell (Trumpet/Flugelhorn),
Mike Rhodes (Bass), and
The Viking (Drums), performed their Jazz originals and standards at
Bombs Away Cafe Thursday, November 3, 2005. Jazz is about inventing on the spot, taking risks, making something new out of a tune that's been around a long time or a new one making a debut. Jazz is about spontaneity, musical exchanges, going for that idea - not quite getting it but turning it around into something better. You'll hear all of that and more in these audio clips of the
XTET sound - enjoy these clips and come see the XTET live!

If you've never been to
Bombs Away Cafe, you're missing out! The food is great! The atmosphere is relaxing. It's always a great time at
