Real Trumpet

This is the home page for Real Trumpet, the audio loop library by Rob Birdwell.  This library of outstanding and professionally recorded ACID and SONAR compatible WAV audio loops, licks, grooves, one-shots, is designed for songwriters, composers, producers - anyone wanting to incorporate real trumpet sounds into the fabric of their musical productions, songs, jingles, or presentations.

Want to hear an example of Real Trumpet in action?  Listen to Pumping It - this track features a variety of Real Trumpet audio loops (open Trumpet with Plunger, Cup and Harmon mutes) as well as Flugelhorn.

System Requirements

Unlike “software” the Real Trumpet audio library's requirements may vary from user to user depending on how the audio library is being used.  In general, to get the most out of this audio loop library, you will need a minimum of the following:

• CD-ROM player in your computer
• Sound card of your choice
• Audio/MIDI composition or production tool(s) of your choice (for example, SONAR®, ACID®)
• Software that can open/play/edit .WAV audio files (primarily Windows®, but possibly other operating systems too)

Be sure to check out Rob Birdwell's Licks On Demand  service.  This service allows anyone to request Trumpet/Flugelhorn licks, grooves, riffs and/or one-shots (per your specific descriptions and requirements) -  for only a very small fee!
