This is a very special album for me. It's sort of about me gaining confidence as a songwriter (about time!) and at an emotional period as I mourned the passing of my father, Bob. The term "macabre" is a bit dark (literally to dance with death) but we are all doing that, aren't we, whether we like so or not? In this collection I embrace not only that "dance", but, more importantly, the love and joy of life.
