I've had the great honor of guest conducting several Harry Potter concerts featuring the music of John Williams. Â In one performance, I wrote a piece inspired by the program - Hogarts Hoedown was written to feature a group of youth strings. Â We needed something simple but grand sounding, and this was the result. Â For the feature concert, the "Wild Hogs" (not sure if that was their billed name!) were featured - they are:
