I've had the great honor of guest conducting several Harry Potter concerts featuring the music of John Williams. In one performance, I wrote a piece inspired by the program - Hogarts Hoedown was written to feature a group of youth strings. We needed something simple but grand sounding, and this was the result. For the feature concert, the "Wild Hogs" (not sure if that was their billed name!) were featured - they are:
