I wrote this song intentionally trying to write something very simple and this was the result. I recorded this live video a week after writing it just to chronical the moment. My hope is to eventually produce this song with a bit of arrangement (not much), just enough to support the simple idea.
The verses emphasize the ephemeral nature of things - skies are grey, friends are far away, days are long, it all goes wrong, etc., whereas the chorus is a declaration of of immutability of one's love. Simple stuff. Only took me half a lifetime to write! ;)
